But not really though. I had session 2 of the IPL about 10 days ago. I can hardly call it painful. Just an occasional flash and a bit of burning, and that's it. I felt like parts of my face were a bit sunburnt for a few hours later, and that was it.
I think that in the next few days a few of the dark hairs will fall out, and for now, I've got a few bare patches on my chin and lower neck.
The worst part is putting on a high SPF cream.....no sun allowed!

I had a cunning....
plan...!
So much has happened in the few weeks since we looked at the possibility of taking part in Comic Relief. The idea was for me to work the reception at the salon in town for the day, whilst everyone would be dressed as pirate princesses! The theory seemed ok at the time, and plans were being made in good time. Then, during those few weeks, the friendship with the boss developed into something else, and, as some friends will have seen, Jan and I have started to get out into the Village together, and we'll be out again for the Concord meal tonight.
I'll still be keeping this diary going, but it might be looked at from a slightly different perspective in future!
